THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS, DROWNING PREVENTION FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS ARE HELPING TO DELIVER THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES IN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.

NO KIDS DROWN

No Kids Drown is a free water safety program for children offering multiple layers of protection (available in English and Spanish).

  • Water safety story books for children
  • Water safety brochures and educational videos for parents
  • Infant and child bystander CPR instruction for parents
  • Children’s survival swimming lesson teaching basic water skills

Program materials are delivered through water safety events with local aquatic facilities. Story books and brochures can also be provided in a daycare or pre-school classroom setting.

LIFE JACKET LOANER STATIONS

We partner with community pools, condo/apartment pools, and Parks and Recreation departments to install life jacket loaner stations for young swimmers.

Engaging with neighborhood schools to deliver information directly to parents through their mobile phones. Targeting families with children from kindergarten to 3rd grade. This initiative runs for one month annually, typically in April or May.
